“This cottage truly felt like a home away from home, brimming with a genuine warmth from the hosts who thoughtfully provided essentials like fresh bread and homemade marmalade, even a bottle of wine, setting a wonderfully comfortable tone for our stay. Its location near the river Gitting offered peaceful walks, a delightful counterpoint to the well-equipped and meticulously kept interiors that felt both cosy and surprisingly spacious for its historic 16th-century build. The ease of parking and the owners' attentive yet unobtrusive presence meant everything was considered for a thoroughly enjoyable visit, making a return trip seem not just likely, but entirely natural.”
